Good Vibrations Webradio plays non-stop feel good music: relaxing, danceable or even both, often with a slight funky, sunny touch.
Mainly focussing on 1988-2001, except some ’85/’86/’87/’02/’03 tracks fitting the sound of the station, so lots of nineties. Often well-known, sometimes less known.
Station voices: Michael Kames and a girl from Paul Productions. Further jingle production has been done by myself.

A weekend warming up show. These hours contain a variety of danceable feel good music from the 90s & beyond.

Nog suggesties voor – in het format passende – tracks?
Blur, Orbital, RHCP, Dune, Moby, Sublime, Jimmy Cliff, Members of Mayday (Marusha, Westbam, Jens), Pierre Henry, RMB, Party Animals en zo kan ik nog even doorgaan. Geen idee of die al zijn langsgekomen omdat ik niet de hele tijd bij de computer ben.
Moby komt om de zoveel tijd langs. Een enkel nummer van de RHCP en Jimmy Cliff ook. De rest niet. Over Blur en Orbital, en Jens’ Loops & things ga ik eens nadenken. Van Westbam’s ‘The mayday anthem’ weet ik eigenlijk niet of ik hem in m’n database heb staan, even kijken. Misschien in de mapjes voor de avond/nacht-programmering.
Happy hardcore is een probleem, wegens het mezelf richten op een internationaal publiek. Een groot deel van m’n luisteraars komt uit de USA, en daar wordt dat niet begrepen.
Daarnaast vormt het niet de meest geweldige combinatie met het meer relaxte geluid wat ik voor de zender als ‘kapstok’ gebruik, om de rest van de nummers aan op te hangen.
Als er veel Amerikanen luisteren dan moet Sublime er zeker bij! Andere namen uit die regio: Selena, Gloria Estefan, The Rembrandts (met hun 1 hit wonder), Whitney Houston, Guns N’ Roses, TLC, etc..
